Spouse Tour Itinerary

After breakfast, begin your day by driving to Old Delhi for a walk past the majestic Jama Masjid, one of India’s largest and most impressive mosques built by Emperor Shah Jahan. From here, stroll through the lively lanes of Kinari Bazaar and the aromatic Spice Market, where colourful shops, hanging décor, and fresh spices create a truly unforgettable atmosphere perfect for couples who enjoy discovering vibrant local culture together. Enjoy a traditional rickshaw ride through Chandni Chowk, taking in the charming chaos, heritage, and bustling life of this historic neighbourhood. You will also drive past the grand Red Fort, an enduring symbol of Mughal glory.

Later, continue to New Delhi for a panoramic drive past the President’s House, Parliament House, and the iconic India Gate, honouring Indian soldiers who laid down their lives in World War I.

After this, proceed to the serene architectural marvel, the Lotus Temple. Known for its stunning lotus-shaped design and peaceful ambiance, it offers a calming retreat an ideal moment for couples to relax and soak in the tranquility.

After visiting Lotus Temple, enjoy free time for lunch in Connaught Place (CP), where your guide will suggest excellent restaurants matching your preferences. CP’s lively cafés, global cuisine options, and pleasant ambience make it a wonderful place for couples to unwind.

In the late afternoon, enjoy a delightful shopping experience at Dilli Haat, a vibrant open-air market perfect for couples to explore handmade crafts, textiles, jewellery, and regional art from across India. Its colourful stalls, cultural vibe, and artisanal charm make it a wonderful place to pick up souvenirs and enjoy quality time together.

If time permits, you may explore a few more corners of Dilli Haat or simply relax with a refreshing drink before returning to your hotel for an overnight stay in Delhi.

After lunch, continue your sightseeing with a visit to the soaring Qutub Minar, India’s tallest brick minaret surrounded by ancient monuments inside the historical Qutub Complex.
